Tall House Updates

Good things have been happening over at the Tall House since my last update, and lately, my mind is moving more and more toward decorating and furniture. In France, there’s been another lockdown, but stores are reopening starting this week, and I can’t wait to hit the brocantes and search out treasures. At the top of my shopping list? We need to find a bed for Oscar. He has a twin size right now, but we want to put something bigger in his room so that it can work for guests if needed.

Come see what we’ve been up to.

More progress in the laundry room, and lots of smaller tasks happening around the house:

The last tile going in, boxing up pipes and electrical work, smaller tasks around the house (like washing windows and putting in light bulbs), and some Q&A with followers:

I’m really enjoying tackling a lot of the smaller tasks. They are fun to work on as a family, and lots of them are quick so you can get through a long list in one day. Which reminds me: we brought our window washing set from Oakland (our house there had so many windows!), and it’s still going strong.

P.S. — More Tall House updates.

  1. The progress is quite amazing! I wonder if you brought your furniture from the States? I’m glad for you shops and brocante are opening, especially in your area theey are so worth it.

  2. Hmmm. I tried to post a comment yesterday but got a message saying it was a duplicate post. So either I’m trapped in a time warp or there’s an issue with the blog software
