The work progresses! In this update, we’ve got lots of progress on the powder room near the entry, we oiled and filled an armoire in the living room, and we also learned about shibboleths.
Gijsbert started building out the remaining walls of the powder room near the entry:
Insulation for the powder room begins, a broken wheel on the kitchen island, and I show you how the extensions work on the table in the studio:
Fixed the wheels on the kitchen island, and Gijsbert demonstrates how to say his name:

I know it’s a TON of work to share house updates on your blog AND on insta. I follow both and while it’s great watching detailed stories, I wish house updates on your blog followed blog post format as it’s confusing to watch the stories as they keep moving. I’d love to just see 3-5 photos and a little bit of text on the update.
Just want to disagree with the other comment LOL. I’m trying to leave IG, but LOVE following your house updates. I take so much inspiration from your design choices. So it’s great to know I can get it here without being on IG.
